As a new principal, it's essential to establish a solid foundation for success in your first 100 days on the job. Meeting with key stakeholders is crucial in setting a vision for the coming years. I will be meeting with our Literacy Specialist to discuss Language Arts and one of our classroom teachers to discuss math.

In my first 30 days, I plan to participate in parent events throughout the rest of the year, getting familiar with the school culture and building relationships with parents and teachers. I will also focus on developing a deeper understanding of the school's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).

In my second month, I aim to complete the first 100 days, which will put me in a better position to set a vision for the coming years. This milestone will allow me to identify areas that require attention and develop strategies to address them.

My third month will be dedicated to implementing the strategies outlined in my plan. I will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure everyone is on the same page. I will also prioritize building relationships with area and state superintendents, fostering a sense of transparency, belonging, and connection throughout the school community.

To achieve these goals, I will:

In addition, I will use tools like IFTTT (If This Then That) to automatically embed photographs and captions on Twitter and Facebook, increasing transparency and keeping the community informed about school events.
